We set out up the Wind River Hwy into Washington to enjoy a nice hike through old growth forest to my favorite waterfall. Amy quickly found a hollowed out tree to enjoy.
The creek and the moss were beautiful as always. Washington forest always feels like home to me.
We crossed a fun bridge and continued to enjoy the creek, the green, and the beautiful moss. There are a few smaller waterfalls before the main attraction.
We got to Falls Creek Falls and spent a long time cooking lunch and enjoying the beauty of it.
I especially like the upper part of this falls which makes a 360 degree cathedral of water!
We had a yummy lunch- some sort of wrap concoction and just took in the falls. Amy found some great climbing rocks and was reluctant to head back to the trail.
